The theatre department is now performing the hit Broadway play, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, from February 26 to March 1 at 6 p.m. The lead characters Olive Ostrovsky and William Barfee are played by seniors Jessi Sommer and Jordan McCarthy. The play is under the direction of Mrs. Burrows, the theatre adviser. Theatre IV seniors Bailey Maxson and Vashti Ryerson are assisting Mrs. Burrows in the direction of the play. A select few of the band students are also performing live music under the direction of Mr. Franke. Mr. Fleischer is the pianist for the play, as well as the vocal director. Kimberly Kinan, senior, is in charge of the technical department for the play. Students can purchase tickets online at http://www.showtix4u.com for $8 or $10 at the door.
