Over 700 seniors gathered on the football field during third period Tuesday, Oct 29, for the senior group photos. Hosted by The Prowl staff, the pictures commemorate these students’ final year and will be featured in the 2015 yearbook which comes out in May.

Prep work for the occasion began early in the morning with sign making, bleacher dividing, and painting huge numbers on the football field. Senior yearbook students blew up almost 100 balloons and painted two huge banners to post for the bleacher photo.

“We couldn’t do this without the help of administration, the senior teachers, and Student Council. Special thanks to Mr. McCracken and Mr. Franke for all their help, and I really believe that this was the most cooperative senior class in the eight years I’ve been advising the yearbook,” Mrs Thompson said.

Students were excused to the field from their third periods, and at 10:20 a.m. they stood in a formation on the football field to illustrate their graduating year, 2015. Only the second year for this annual photo, Principal Piccininni instituted the idea with the class of 2014. Then, the students moved over to the home side of the bleachers for the traditional bleacher photo, a yearly fall event since the school’s opening.

From start to finish it took about 40 minutes to take the photographs, and then the seniors headed in for the beginning of fourth period.
