When the holidays roll around, it can be difficult to whip up a dessert that is fun and healthy. Next time you want to make a sweet treat, try Holiday Jello Salad. The colorful desert tantalizes taste buds with sweet jello and slightly tangy fruit bites. This frosty treat is then layered with a creamy topping. Follow the easy recipe below to make this new holiday classic for the festive season.

Ingredients:

  • 3-3 oz. packs of Jello
  • 3 cups of water
  • 1-20 oz. can of crushed pineapple
  • 1-16 oz. bag of frozen strawberries- halved
  • 1-4 oz. package of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • ¼ cup of sugar

Directions:

1. Boil water and dissolve Jello
2. Add in crushed pineapple with juice and frozen strawberries
3. Pour in to 13 by 9 inch pan
4. Allow to set for 3 hours in refrigerator
5. Blend cream cheese, sour cream, and sugar with a mixer
6. Spread over top of hardened Jello
7. Chill for 1 hour
8. Serve
