The National Art Honors Society hosted another art gallery in the library on Tuesday, May 6, to display the work of young artists.

The NAHS hosts art galleries three to four times each school year. These galleries give students in the program an idea of what an art gallery really is. It pushes their creativity and lets them have control over their art while working together to create a theme for the gallery.

“I participated in NAHS because I really like art. It took me a month to sketch my drawing of Taylor Swift,”Angelica Shenouda, freshman, said.

Students of every grade level are welcome to join NAHS. It is for all forms of art such as painting, drawing, sketches, sculptures, and all types of artistic backgrounds. Students do not need to be taking an art class to be apart of the club.

Ms. Buchner, room 310, is the NAHS adviser and oversees the student’s work.

“I’m extremely proud of all my kids for participating. They’re very dedicated and fun to work with, and I can’t wait for next year,” Buchner said
