With school back in session and fall on its way, Student Council is hosting the first spirit week of the school year. From Sep. 21-25, students are encouraged to dress up for each day while keeping dress code in mind. The spirit days are: Late Morning Monday, Twin Tuesday, Wonder Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, and Calling All Cougars White Out.

“One of the goals for Student Council was to unite the school and bring it together as one Cougar nation with Cougar pride,” Bailey Goto, sophomore, said.

Students can start off the week with Late Morning Monday by dressing in pajamas, comfy wear, slippers, and bringing blankets.

Student government members hope Cougars will team up with a friend and wear the same clothes for Twin Tuesday.

Spirit-minded students can embrace their inner superhero on Wonder Wednesday by sporting their favorite superhero gear.

This year’s Throwback Thursday comes with a twist, organizers would like to see participants dressed up in their old school attire from their elementary school days.

The last day of the Get to Know You spirit week on Friday includes, Calling All Cougars. Cougs can show off their pride in white attire. A pep rally will take place during both lunches in the quad with performances by the cheer and dance teams.

“I am very excited for the upcoming spirit week especially Throwback Thursday,” Heather Mitchell, freshman, said.
