Teachers, disguised as flesh eating monsters, will chase students at the Zombie Run on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 3 p.m to 5 p.m. The objective is to stay alive or not get your flag pulled by a zombie. There will be prizes for best costume, most laps, and the final survivor.

“The event is going to be so much fun! Students have the potential to earn $75 in giftcards to Panda, Baskin Robbins, and Coffee Bean. Anyone can win, and the money goes to charity,” Shelby Burdo, senior, said.

The AP Executive Council is selling tickets at both lunches. They are $5 each or $10 at the door. The money raised is going to the Children’s Heart Foundation.

“I am very happy with how this has all come together. I’m very excited that we are able to help children in need; it’s for a great cause. We are thankful to the many groups that contributed. We encourage everyone to please go and be a part of it,” Mr. Poleski, AP Executive Council adviser, said.

Students are encouraged to dress up, but to keep in mind that all costumes must be in dress code. Masks and face paint are prohibited.

“I am really excited to go and see everyone participating in the event that supports a good cause. It will be fun to go see all my friends in their costumes, and the teachers in their zombie apparel,” Maddie Baker, sophomore, said.
