Students can pre-order their yearbooks on the Jostens website for $85.00. The price is scheduled to go up to $100 on Wednesday, Feb. 1.

“Pre-ordering saves a ton of hassle at the end of the year when going to get your book, plus it’s way cheaper at pre-order versus buying it when it comes out,” Veronica Jarchow, junior, said.

To order a yearbook, students first need to head to the Jostens website. Once there, type in the name of the school, the city, state, country, and Coronado will then appear as a dropdown option. Next head to the yearbook section and add a yearbook to the cart.

“I am glad I pre-ordered a yearbook, so that I do not need to scramble for one later. I am also excited to look back on my memories from this year,” Ava Coulter, freshman, said.

One of the many perks to pre-ordering a yearbook is the different customization options available. For a small fee, students can add personalized text to the cover of their yearbook, along with up to four icons. Another option is the signature package option. This includes a yearbook, eight colored signing markers, an eight page insert into the yearbook for autographs and the customizable cover. This package currently costs $103, till the book’s price rises, and is no longer available after Feb. 15..

“I like the customization options because they make every yearbook different from one another,” Timothy Kelleher, junior, said.

Along with the signature package and the personalization offers, students can order accessories to go along with their yearbooks. Students can get a clear protective cover to keep their memories safe from spills and scratches, a set of six clear photo covers to hold pictures in, and an autograph section. Each add-on costs $3.00, and if pre-ordered with the book, will arrive when the yearbooks do.

“The Prowl” will hold a yearbook signing party on Wednesday, May 17 during first (for juniors/seniors) and second periods (for freshmen/sophomores) at which time buyers will pick up their books, eat free food, win raffle prizes and sign each other’s books. Students have the chance to win a ticket to the party on Monday, Jan. 30 during lunch. Students who purchased a yearbook between Jan. 23 and Jan. 29 should bring their receipts to a table in the courtyard and roll the dice to win prizes. Participants can win a donut, a fee yearbook cover, autograph pages, or a free pass to the signing party.
