On Thursday, December 8th the Coronado Cougars went head-to-head against the Foothill Falcons. While in a stalemate most of the game the lady Cougars took the win with the final score being 13-7.

“I thought that winning is just what we needed as a team,” senior Bella Lang said. “I thought my teammates and I wanted this win so bad that we were doing anything we could to get it. We were aggressive, loud, and supportive, our routes were strong, and flag pulling was on fire.”

The Cougars had amazing sportsmanship with their teammates during this game and made sure they were very aggressive against the opposing team in order to pull out the win. The Cougars gave all of their energy and effort in order to win against the Falcons.

“I think our game went super well,” senior Sloane Vuckovic said. “We were able to work together easily and I had so much fun playing and cheering my teammates on.”

The lady Cougars have an amazing bond with each other both on and off the field. Be sure to catch the lady Cougars back in action on Friday, December 16th take on the Shadow Ridge Mustangs.
