Student Council will host the Powder Puff football game Wednesday, March 25 at 3 p.m. Junior and senior girls are encouraged to participate in this school tradition. The deadline to sign up is Friday, Feb. 27.

“It’s a great way to involve community service opportunities at our schools while increasing our school spirit,” Ariann Sanford, sophomore, said.

The game creates a fun activity for the student body and raises money for charity. Entry is free, and raffle tickets will be sold for one dollar. All proceeds go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

“I signed up because I have always heard about the game and have -always looked forward to the year in which I could play it,” Ryann Heinlen, junior, said. “It’s a tradition, something you have to do before you graduate.”

The gender roles have switched. Girls will be playing football while boys cheer them on.
