From an early age we are told not to tell secrets, but some of the best kept secrets are found in the food industry. These “secret” menus are found at some of the restaurants in our area. McDonald’s, In-N-Out, Starbucks, and Chipotle, each have a hidden gem.
Now let’s enter the world of these secret menus. Try going to McDonald’s and ask for the “Poor Man’s Big Mac”. This is a McDouble spiced up with no pickles, ketchup, and smothered in Big Mac sauce.
Now venture to In-N-Out and order some “Animal Style” fries or a burger. This style doubles the cheese and adds grilled onions and secret sauce on top.
In the mood for Mexican? Head in to Chipotle for a burrito wrapped in a quesadilla, otherwise known as a “Quesarito”.
Next stop is Starbucks, where you can satisfy your sweet tooth with a “Cinnamon Toast Crunch Frappuccino”, “Zebra Mocha”, or a “Poor Man’s Chai Latte”. Be sure to ask your barista for details.
