Freshman Megan Buckley passed away Sunday, May 3. She will be remembered as a beautiful person who brought joy into the world.
Megan was very academic and sporty. She played flag football and was a pole vaulter in track and field for school. She was a former soccer player as well.
Megan was an incredibly smart student and member of the AP Academy. She was an excellent writer and artist, with a love for a variety of music genres and people.
She was constantly looking for ways to make those around her smile. Megan was incredibly generous, always trying to find a way to help others when in need. She was very kind and never afraid to show it. She was a very passionate and expressive person.
Megan was one of those few people that you could tell anything to, and she would never judge you for a second.
Megan Buckley will be missed and never forgotten. All are welcome to attend the vigil on Wednesday, May 6 at 8 p.m. in front of the home football bleachers.
Megan’s funeral services will take place at Central Christian Church this Saturday, May 9. Visitation will be from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. with the service immediately following.
Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this time.
