Class officer elections are taking place next week, February 22nd to February 26th. Freshman, sophomores, and juniors, make sure to vote for next year’s class officers at https://www.tallyspace.com/vote/chsvote! Voting will be open Wednesday at 7:30 am to Friday after second lunch. Make sure to get your voice out!
Mr. Coronado, our male pageant featuring ten of Coronado’s finest boys, is taking place Wednesday, February 24th from 6pm to 8pm. Make sure to pick up your five dollar ticket from any boy participating in the pageant or any student council member, located in Room 503. Don’t miss out on this amazing event!
Our RSVP program has finalized the top three ideas to implement this year. We are now raising funds for hand dryers in the bathrooms, a technology center in the library, and an upgrade to our WIFI system. Please help support these programs by donating to nvbiggive.razoo.com on March 10th. Donations are tax exempt. Thank you for your participation!
This year our Spring Week theme is High School Musical!! The Assembly is taking place March 11th after sixth period ends. The spirit day on that Friday is East High Wildcats, so upperclassmen make sure to wear red and underclassmen make sure to wear white! The rest of the spirit days will take place March 14th to March 18th and go as follows
- March 14th: Spring Musicale Monday (wear your favorite band shirt)
- March 15th: Ryan and Sharpay Twin Tuesday
- March 16th: Mathletes v. Athletes
- March 17th: Lava Springs Country Club Day (wear preppy, neat attire)
- March 18th: Fabulous Splash Friday (wear tropical, beachy clothing)
- There will be music and games in the quad every day, and Friday the 18th we will be grilling and handing out free hot dogs at lunch!
March 11th is POWDERPUFF!! Junior and Senior girls make sure to sign up during lunch. Come out and support your favorite team after the assembly!
March 15th there will be a teacher versus student dodgeball tournament in the main gym from 2:30 to 4:30! Come out and support your favorite student or teacher team! Student sign ups will be held at lunch from February 23rd to March 8th.
