Much of the topic of conversation in the halls has been focused on schedule choices for next year. It may seem early, but form day for pre-registration will take place on Thursday, Feb. 19, during the first 15 minutes of first period.

Students should come prepared with three elective choices for the 2015-16 school year to fill in on the form. If a student is unsure about what elective(s) to take, the course catalog is available on the school information site.

“Next year I’m taking Ceramics II, Spanish IV, and painting.” Tiffany McNamara, sophomore, said.

Students who have taken the first level of a course are already recommended by their teachers if they are ready to move on to the next level. Teacher recommendations were entered into Infinite Campus on February 13. Students who are already eligible do not need to get a signature from the elective teacher during form day. Successfully completing the prerequisite for a class sets students up to go right to the next level the following year.

Taylor Darden, freshman, completed Culinary I and Spanish I this year. “I’m going to take Culinary II and Spanish II next year.”

The elective form shows which classes require a signature and which do not. There is a practice elective form online  or use this link  http://www.coronadocougars.net/school/index.php/reg1/pre-registration-information
