Since the school has administered the pre-registration requirement, the registrar’s office has received over 300 calls from parents with questions about the new system.

“With so many students still getting used to Infinite Campus, there have been many questions regarding how this new system,” Carol Goree, registrar, said.

Parents must have an active Infinite Campus Portal account to submit their child’s information.  This cannot be done from the student’s account.  Out of the 3,200 students attending this year, only about 1,500 have active accounts.

“There has been a great deal of confusion for the parents who saw the notice on the school website, but do not have a portal account,” Goree said.

In order to register, open your portal account and look for a notification in the mailbox.  This notification contains the link needed to begin registration for the next school year.  Any student not registered online by June 30, will be dropped from the school’s roster and lose their class schedule.

“I was relieved when my parents finally registered me.  The process was simple and quick,” Heaven Lucero, junior, said.

In order to receive an activation code, see Mr. Arnold or Mr. McKee in the library for assistance.  There is a kiosk available in the registrar’s office for parents who cannot find access to a computer or would like a walk through.

This will eliminate the forms sent home with students at the beginning of the 2015-2016 school year.

“Most parents don’t send the forms back signed anyway, so this should help make the process a bit easier,” Goree said.

Each student can only be submitted once and any changes that require documentation must be brought to the school to be manually entered before June 30. The registrar will be on hand all summer to answer any questions and provide instruction when registering.
