Five seniors signed with some of the nation’s top colleges as Division 1 or Division 2 athletes on November 12 in the gym foyer. Each formally committed to play for their respective sport and no longer have to complete the schools’ application process.

“It feels awesome knowing I don’t have to go through the common application to attend my top school,” Natalie Yamamoto, senior, said.  “It’s so exciting to already know where I’ll be attending school next year.”

Jake Chir signed with UC Bakersfield for swimming, Berkley Oblad with Utah State for volleyball, Natalie Yamamoto with Albany State for golf, Quintin Eissler with High Point, and Dalton Simpson with Florida Southern for lacrosse.

The next college signing for prospective student athletes will take place in the gym foyer on December 17.
