Cougars finish Falcons

Men’s baseball outlasted the Foothill Falcons in a closely contested game with a final score of 7-6 on Monday, April 21.

At bat, junior Jacen Yergensen led the Cougar offense with four hits and three RBI’s. Also contributing, senior Tanner Bellamy had two hits.

On the mound, Michael Warning, senior, pitched five innings, with Jackson Cofer, senior, and Jacob Klein, sophomore, also contributing, pitching one inning each.

With this key league victory, the Cougars stand at a record of 12-9. 3-2 in league play, the Cougars are ranked fourth in league play, only one game behind Foothill.

Men’s baseball plays next at Del Sol High School on Wednesday, April 23 at 3:30 p.m.
