Cougars have the opportunity this Friday to make a difference and maybe even save a life. The Future Medical Professionals club is hosting a blood drive in the auxiliary gym on April 25 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Donors must be 17 years old and provide a waiver and ID. Eligible students can sign up during first or second lunch.

“I think it’s a great cause. Students should be motivated to help others in need. If I were 17 I’d go and donate,” Micalea Ravina, sophomore, said.

Students are advised to drink plenty of water before they arrive and to not drive or exercise after the donation has been made. Students will be provided with a pass to class after being permitted some time to rest following the donation.
