Cougars slay Dragons

The men’s varsity baseball team shut down the Del Sol Dragons at home on March 31 with a final score of 5-1.

Coronado started the game off by taking the field with Luke McArthy, senior, pitching all seven innings.

The first catch of the game was made by #4, Jacen Yergensen, junior, on a fly ball to left field.

In the bottom of the third the Coronado Cougars were leading 2-1.

In the top of the sixth the Cougars had scored another point and were in the lead with a score of 3-1.

The Cougars finished off strong and put the ball game away in the seventh inning with a 5-1 score.

The Cougars next game is scheduled at Liberty against The Patriots today at 3:30 p.m.
