The varsity baseball team lost against Liberty while battling the elements.

The Cougars tried to maintain their composure as balls were hit wildly through the wind curving in every direction and a slight drizzle began during the fifth inning. They didn’t start off well with Liberty getting a hit off the wall in the bottom of the first allowing two runners to score.

The Cougars lost to the Patriots 6-0 bringing them 1-1 in conference. The team’s next game is Saturday, April 5 at Faith Lutheran at 7 p.m.
