In a close back-and-forth game, the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38 to 35.

In quarter one each team stormed down the field for a touchdown on their opening drives. Jumping into the second quarter, the score was 7-7, but not for long because, within the first couple of seconds, A.J. Brown caught a 45-yard bomb from Jalen Hurts and ran into the endzone for an Eagles touchdown. The Eagle’s glory was not long-lived, however, because, around the 9-minute mark, Nick Bolton gets a 36-yard fumble return for a touchdown. By the end of the second quarter, Jalen Hurts scored a touchdown and the Eagles got a field goal. The score was 14-24.

As they set up the halftime performance, a limping Patrick Mahomes goes off to the locker room to prepare for the next quarter and rest up his injured ankle.

During the 13-minute-long spectacle of Rhianna’s performance, she made a subtle nod to her rumored pregnancy. Fireworks shot into the sky all around her as she ascended on a platform while singing some of her most popular songs like “Umbrella” and “Diamonds” while dressed in vibrant red.

Coming into the third quarter the score amped up. The Chiefs got a touchdown, the Eagles got a field goal, the Chiefs got two more touchdowns, the Eagles earned their second touchdown of the half, and before you knew it, the score was tied up at 35-35. In a controversial call, the chiefs had the ball in field goal range. They ran the clock out, kicked the field goal, and won the Superbowl 38-35.
